Los Angeles--With old Hollywood glamour reigning at this year's Oscars, classic diamond jewelry was seen left and right, but that doesn’t mean colored gemstones were swept off the scene. Not at all.
Appearing on the wrists and ears of a handful of high-profile nominees and winners, stones including luminous opal, deep blue sapphire and inky London blue topaz made quite a showing of their own--both on stage and behind the scenes.
On March 4 and 5, just prior to the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, nominees from films such as
Avatar, The Hurt Locker and Precious, among others, were invited to attend StyleLab's 2010 Academy Awards Jewelry Preview, a series of exclusive events helping jewelry designers to garner product placement and national and international media coverage.
Among the jewelry designs featured at this year's preview were entries from the American Gem Trade Association's (AGTA) Spectrum Awards, the annual design competition honoring the best in colored gemstones. Go for wide range of engagement rings collection at RoyalDesignOnline.com
