How to Customize Diamond Rings

Dream of every woman is to wear diamond rings. Every woman expects her love to present her with an engagement ring that has a diamond embedded, when he proposes her. But ever wondered how diamond came into so much of popularity, why is it considered so precious, is it really rare after all; questions whose answers once when revealed would certainly make the customer think twice before buying one

Strong marketing tactics were used by De Beers to gain the popularity of diamonds. The line "A diamond is forever" touched many souls, and followed it was a huge marketing campaign that led to the success of De Beers to manipulate the minds of people especially that of a woman's. But then, these were all marketing tactics which can be justified; however what can't be justified is showing its rarity.

We all know that if a pretty stone is rare, it's high price can be justified, but if something is not rare, but is portrayed as rare and hence a huge price is tagged, then that's strictly not justified. This is true in the case of diamonds; yes diamonds are abundant in nature, De Beers has a huge vault that consists of almost all the world's supply of diamonds. It's said that, if ever these diamonds were to be released, then the market price of diamonds would be worth peanuts.

In today's world the cost of diamonds is sky high, and the women are totally fascinated by it, but wonder whether it's really worth it. The resale value of diamond is zilch, but the cost incurred by you was beyond imagination. The point is, spending so much on something, for a show off purpose that lasts for only sometime, is it really worth it; instead of that you could have saved that money for your second honey moon, or maybe your son's future education, or something that's worth the money.

So the next time, when you plan to buy a beautiful anniversary rings or an engagement ring and right hand rings , be sure you make the right choice, and think twice before you plan to buy a diamond ring.
